Today, the Matosinhos Market hosted a special Showcooking session with Chef Iñaki Bretal, from the restaurant O Eirado (Pontevedra), awarded a Michelin star.
As part of the Training and Qualification Program for the gastronomic sector "Learning from the best", the chef shared the secrets of his cuisine, highlighting an innovative technique: the use of smoke to enhance the flavors and textures of seafood.
Iñaki prepared three dishes that combine tradition and innovation: Smoked Scallop, Cured Atlantic Bonito and Grilled Sea Bass, each showing respect for the product and its essence.
Hospitality School, João Gonçalves Zarco High School and local restaurant professionals had the unique opportunity to learn advanced techniques and exchange ideas with the chef.
This event is part of a vast program that already has more than 30 actions, with the aim of training and qualifying more than 300 gastronomy and restaurant professionals.
