Mobile Eco-centers

The Mobile Eco-centers, mobile waste deposition units, traveled through various points of the Matosinhos municipality. After their passage through the parishes of Perafita and Custóias, these units relocated to Leça do Balio.

During their stay at these locations, the two Mobile Eco-centers were available to serve the residents of the area, allowing the deposit of various materials, such as contaminated packaging, lamps, electrical and electronic equipment, CDs, DVDs, batteries and small accumulators, ink cartridges and toners, non-packaging paper waste and cork stoppers.

Subsequently, they were installed in other locations, in order to transit through all the parishes of the municipality, thus serving a larger number of residents. This initiative reinforced the municipality's commitment to sustainability, promoting recycling and the correct disposal of waste, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
