Best practice exchance session between Matosinhos and Curitiba

Last Friday, a delegation from Curitiba (Brazil), had the opportunity to visit Matosinhos, to get to know first-hand some of the practices and initiatives that have made the city stand out on the international scene, especially in the tourism and gastronomy sectors.

The delegation began its presence in the city with a visit to one of the local canning factories, and was then received at the Matosinhos City Council, where they had the opportunity to exchange ideas on innovation in business and tourist destinations, reflecting the delegation's purpose of learning from good practices, both technological and non-technological, that have driven cities around the world.

The visit ended with a gastronomic experience, where the group had the opportunity to taste the unique cuisine of Matosinhos and confirm its quality.

This meeting came about after contact from the delegation from Curitiba, increasingly recognizing and validating the internationalization of Matosinhos as a city and tourist destination of excellence.
