The Municipality of Matosinhos congratulates the recognition awarded by the prestigious Michelin Gala 2025 to the restaurants in our region, further strengthening Matosinhos' status as a top gastronomic destination.
The iconic Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, led by Chef Rui Paula, retains its two Michelin stars, reaffirming its position among the world's best restaurants.
The distinction also extends to new local gastronomic references, with Cibû, by Chef Hugo Portela, and Bistrô, by Chef Arnaldo Azevedo, joining the prestigious Michelin Guide for the first time.
We also highlight the continued presence of Seiva, by Chef David Jesus, in the Michelin Guide, an award first achieved in 2024, reflecting the consistency and culinary innovation that define this establishment.
