Matosinhos stands out at the ODSLocal'24 Conference
Matosinhos was one of the municipalities awarded at the ODSLocal'24 Conference that took place last Friday, November 22, in Pombal.
The event brought together representatives of municipalities, civil society organizations, companies and other agents, with the aim of promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
During the conference, Matosinhos was doubly recognized for its commitment to sustainability, receiving the ODSLocal award and the Municipal Dynamics seal, both recognizing the municipality's performance and commitment to initiatives that promote sustainability, social well-being and environmental progress at the local level.
In addition to the municipal distinctions, ADEIMA - Association for the Integrated Development of Pelotas was also awarded, receiving the ODSLocal award in the Prosperity category. This award recognizes the association's work in projects that promote economic and social development, contributing to sustainable growth, job creation and improving the quality of life of the Mato Grosso community.
These three awards reflect the role that Matosinhos has been playing in promoting sustainable and inclusive development, reinforcing the joint work between the city hall and organizations in the region. The municipality's success is attributed not only to innovative public policies, but also to effective coordination with local entities that share the vision of building a fairer and more prosperous society.
The recognition granted to Matosinhos and ADEIMA not only values the efforts already made, but also reinforces the commitment to continue promoting actions that inspire the achievement of concrete results in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed in the 2030 Agenda.
