OCEANS FUTURE SUMMIT is a gastronomy congress to discuss the future of seafood, featuring chefs, nutritionists, oceanographers, and researchers from various geographic locations. Over the course of 3 days, there will be lectures, workshops, tastings, and visits to various locations in the city.

The congress will result in international manifestos, instruments for monitoring marine biodiversity, and awareness campaigns that will transform the way we eat globally.

Alignment:

The project aligns with Farm to Fork, the European Green Deal, and SDGs 12, 13, 14.

The GASTRONOMY LAB project will reward innovation in the intersection of gastronomy with biology, nutrition, marine sciences, and other creative disciplines. The competition is open to researchers, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals from all continents in the fields of science, gastronomy, technology, design, and media arts, advocating for equal participation from the Southern Hemisphere.

Alignment:

The project aligns with Horizon 2020 and SDGs 12, 13, 14, 15.

CREATIVE ATLANTIC GASTRONOMY aims to enhance the value of Atlantic food through collaboration between coastal cities in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

The Atlantic diet is exemplary in combining fish, vegetables, and fruits. The recognition of Atlantic gastronomic culture will involve the exchange of best practices and cooperation in multicultural projects. The actions may include tracing local products, a certification seal for Atlantic food products that verifies their origin and good sourcing practices, campaigns to promote products and recipes, tourist routes visiting the canning industry, and the establishment of a network of Atlantic Diet Ambassadors composed of renowned chefs. Additionally, the creation of multimedia supports (videos, photography, design) is envisioned to ensure the communication of this gastronomic culture to various audiences.

The project aligns with Farm to Fork, the European Green Deal, and SDGs 2, 4, 12, 14, 17.
